Peregrine Sebulime

 

Professor Assistent al Departament de “Fauna i recursos aquàtics” del College of Veterinary Medicine Animal and Biosecurity (CoVAB) de la Universitat de Makerere (Uganda).

 

Peregrine is a wildlife ecologist with nine years’ experience in wildlife ecology in Uganda. Currently an Assistant Lecturer teaching wildlife ecology, population genetics, and animal welfare at Makerere University's Department of Wildlife and Aquatic Animal Resources, College of Veterinary Medicine Animal Resources and Biosecurity (CoVAB). He has a special interest in community-wildlife interactions. Peregrine has been involved in assessing community attitudes towards wildlife in Lake Mburo National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park. Recently, he has participated in assessment of the status of Leopards (Pathera pardus) in Uganda. He also has experience in using genetic approaches to determine the genetic diversity as well as population structure of wildlife populations.Peregrine has a BSc in Zoology and an MSc in Zoology with an emphasis on vertebrate ecology, from Makerere University.
